RSS Questions

1. I selected the sites that I did because they are very interesting to me and I like to keep updated with the information they provide.

2. It was very easy to find feeds to subscribe to since a lot of websites had syndicated content and want people to follow their news.

3. My favorite sites were the tap dancing ones I followed and BBC for world-wide news.

4. You can also use RSS feeds to keep updated with things for school or important events you need to pay attention to. Also, RSS feeds can be used to keep updated with politics.

5. I will probably not actually keep using the RSS feeds since I am barely on my computer but if I did ever have to keep up to date with something going on, I would first decide to use the RSS feeds as it is the most convenient way to educate myself.

new wiki topic

I think a good topic to write about next time using wikispaces would be your favorite sport. Everyone does different things and they could write all about what they like to do. Pages could be dedicated to the history of the sport, nutrition and health going into the sport, supplies needed to use the sport and famous athletes in that sport league. It would be very interesting.

my spring break

My spring break was really fun. I got to hang out with my friends a lot. We went shopping, watched movies, and went out to eat a lot. It was really relaxing and I definitely needed the break. I also went to Boston for three days with my family and went sight seeing. There was a lot of walking but the weather was nice and it was enjoyable. I had a great break.

Time Travel

If I could go anywhere in time, I would probably go back to when I went to Washington DC with my 8th grade class. I would really like to relive that since it was the best trip and experience I've ever had. I would do anything to get that back. My entire grade was such good friends and everyone got along so well. The trip could not have gone any better. Everyone was so happy and I feel like we were so much younger. Eighth grade was so much easier than high school is now. Being away with my friends for three days was so awesome and we had a lot of independence. Everything was so perfect and the entire trip we were laughing over everything. Everyone got so much closer on that trip too and it really laid out a lot of my friendships now. It was just an all around great experience and I would definitely go back to it in a heart beat.

Do Now 2/19

I would add a psychology class to the curriculum at the school since we do not already have one. This would be considered an elective and can happen at any point in the day, depending on each students' schedule. In the class, the students would focus on the basics of psychology to help them for college, if they're majoring in that field. The class would be small, talkative and collaborative and not so uniform like a math or history class. It would be fun and easy and less stressful than other classes since it's an elective and a pretty interesting course. The students would produce a background knowledge of psychology to take to college to help them out. They'll have a better understanding of what the class is like, to help them decide if that is actually what they want to do when they grow up.

"Microsoft Should Have Made a Laptop"

-Everyone is very pleased with the Microsoft's new Surface Pro tablet but the quality and greatness of the product makes people question why they haven't made a laptop yet.
-They feel it would be a good investment to make since their programming and processing is complex and fast that their own laptop would make it 10x better.
-Some saying it would even do better than a MacBook Pro.
-A laptop would demonstrate the capabilities of Windows 8 a lot better since the tablet doesn't display it's true potential.
-The Surface Pro is compatible with an attachment keyboard but a laptop would be less faulty and work way better with the mouse and keyboard attached.
-Everyone wants Microsoft to come out with the laptop after this.
-It's getting many people excited.
